An awesome thing about living in the Midwest is that a person can dress for all the seasons without having to worry about being too hot or too cold. Fashion for every season is usually appropriate here (usually). I went on vacation to Florida eariler this month and yes it was beautiful, the temperature was nearly 80 degrees everyday but I really did miss Des Moines. Fashion just wasn’t the same there and I missed my sweaters 
I paired this cable knit with a plaid shirt underneath, because I think I’ll always have a love for the “preppy look”. It invokes feelings of sophistication and refinement. And I don’t know if this is just me, but it kinda makes me feel French or maybe a little English, with a boyish edge . Am I crazy? I tend to have quite an imagination. 
Did you get into the oxfords trend this year?
